This product came recommended as a superior form for getting Vitamin D3 and Retinol A. It's Green Pasture's Blue Ice Cod Liver Oil. It's not cheap. Cost is $30.37. I did experience remarkable improvements on the first few doses but after that the effects had plateaued. And I felt like I was getting no benefit after the first 7 to 10 days. I could be wrong. I like Vitamin D3. I use it whenever I am feeling less than. And it seems to pick me up for that day and carry me for another couple of days.
Then this past week I read at Weston A. Price Foundation the hubbub over the quality of the cod liver oils recommended by Sally Fallon, the head of the Foundation. It sounds like someone is trying to discredit the organization and her recommendations. The conflict is stressful. You can read it here. And it is the comments following the article where the conflict becomes hostile.
